Getting to our place and some tips
Yaklom Angkor Lodge :
If you arrive Siem Reap by plane and already provided arrival details to us with your reservation/confirmation, our staff or driver should be waiting for you in front of the respective arrival hall showing the sign of our place's name with your name on it. In this case, you may not need to contact taxi stand at the arrival hall. After completing immigration formality and collecting luggages, please proceed straight to the front of the arrival hall. Our staff will be among the hotel/travel agent crew holding the sign of our place with your name.
If you arrive Siem Reap by boat from Phnom Penh or Battambang and request for pick up, our staff will be waiting for you at the Siem Reap boat dock at Chong Khneas by the Tonle Sap lake. (We would appreciate if you could provide beforehand the name of the boat company you will travel with, as the arrival time may be different from the others.) Please be seriously noted that the Siem Reap boat dock may be quite messed up with many people, as there is normally a lot of hassles, and touts running around boat passengers/tourists. Please make sure you approach our staff who holds the properly made sign with your name, and not just a piece of paper. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYONE SAYING THAT OUR PLACE IS CLOSED, FULL, TOO FAR, DIRTY, RE-LOCATED, VERY BAD or whatsoever, as these people try to get you to the guesthouse/hotel from which they can charge commission.
If you arrive in Siem Reap by taxi or bus from Bangkok or Poi Pet (the Thai-Cambodian border), please insist the driver to drop you at our place. Some bus companies will drop (sell) tourist passengers to the guesthouse/hotel they have agreed with for the commission. If you are dropped off somewhere in town and want to be picked up, please call us at Tel: 012-983510, 011-910655, and we will send our car to pick you up. To find our place by yourself, please check in the map at : www.canbypublications.com/maps/srmapmain.htm Our place is located on the eastern (right) side of the Siem Reap river, on the second street from the river (Wat Bo street) just 50 m north of National Route Number 6 (Sawasdee & Yaklom).
If you arrive Siem Reap by bus from Phnom Penh, Battambang, Kampong Cham, SihanoukVille, Kratie, Ratanakiri and other destinations within Cambodia; please let us know by phone (more preferred) or by email (well beforehand) the name of bus company and your approximate time of arrival so that we can arrange for pick up at the bus station.
Sawasdee Food Garden :
Sawasdee Food Garden is situated side by side with Yaklom Angkor Lodge accessible through the same gate.
